Dear Diary,
I hate Mondays. I don’t feel like going to work today. I have a lot on my mind, and I may lose it at one point or another.
I can’t imagine having to endure the boring meeting with Mike sitting beside me. He will have no fewer than 50 nagging questions to ask, and God knows, I don’t have the energy to argue. If he had assisted me in completing the task last week, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Whether I attend this meeting or not, I am getting a query anyway. Let me save myself the embarrassment and stay at home. A little white lie will do it!
